Ultrasound and X-ray diagnostics

Our practice provides ultrasound and X-ray diagnostics services as part of a comprehensive diagnostic treatment that enables our veterinary team to accurately diagnose various health problems.

A series of conditions can be detected by X-ray, and the process takes a short time – it only takes a few seconds to capture the desired area. The camera is silent, which is extremely important when shooting animals that are afraid, in pain, and especially those who have breathing problems. In exceptional cases, the animal is sedated for X-ray imaging, e.g. to assess orthopaedic problems.

Ultrasound diagnostics is equally important and is sometimes an indispensable part of diagnostics. For ultrasound examination, sedation is usually not required, but it is necessary to bring the animal on an empty stomach so that the contents in the stomach and intestines do not interfere with the evaluation of the organs. Ultrasound enables a thorough examination of the dynamics and structure of internal organs and is often used as part of a cardiological examination (Collor-doppler).

Both methods are important in performing diagnostic processing and provide us with important information to accurately diagnose and establish your pet’s treatment plan.
