CT diagnostics

In our clinic, we use a high-quality 64 slice CT device that allows us to record almost all parts of the body, and your pet will spend a short time under anesthesia to ensure the imaging is as precise and safe as possible.

We use the CT device when we’re:

  • assessing a critical patient (e.g., vital organ injuries, haemorrhages)
  • working with a surgical patient (e.g. preoperative planning in cardiac and pulmonary diseases, urinary tract and abdominal vascular malformations)
  • working with a neurological patient (e.g. herniated disc, spinal trauma)
  • working with an oncology patient (e.g. determining tumour stage)
  • Treating various orthopaedic problems (dislocations, fractures, joint diseases)

The CT we use at the BUBA Veterinary Clinic allows us to scan your pet’s entire body and allows critical patients to be examined.

This device is essential for diagnosing and monitoring patients’ health, providing our medical team with comprehensive information needed to properly treat your pet.
