Marina Mrkonjić, DVM

Dr. Mrkonjić has a particular fondness for working with exotic animals, considering them extraordinarily unique and underrepresented in the veterinary world. She is also interested in internal medicine, further broadening her expertise and dedication.

From an early age, animals have been an integral part of her life. “I’ve been around animals my whole life. Whenever one was in need, I felt the urge to help. Even as a child, I knew I’d be the one to assist them, and I’ve stayed true to that path.” Today, she shares her love for animals with her rabbit Lola, a four-year-old pet who acts like a little dog, always cheerful, affectionate, and sociable.

One of the unique aspects of working at BUBA Clinic is the expert and supportive team. “You’re never alone, and there’s always someone by your side—from technicians to other doctors,” says Dr. Mrkonjić, emphasizing the importance of teamwork and support in daily work with pets.
